Yes, SimulTrans has every intention to maintain its fruitful collaboration with the very same talented translators. As a result, you can rest assured that the exceptional quality of your translations will remain unchanged.

7. Will project schedules be the same?

Yes, we commit to the same speedy turn-around times you are used to.

8. How do I pay SimulTrans' invoices?

Once your translation project is complete, SimulTrans will promptly send you an invoice detailing the cost and inclusive of  VAT. The invoice has the  Spanish bank information for transferring the funds directly to SimulTrans. We have a net 30-day payment. Read our terms and conditions here 

9. Do I need to communicate with SimulTrans in English or Spanish?

SimulTrans boasts a diverse and talented Spanish team.  In addition, we have a multicultural team proficient in English and fluent in Spanish.

12. Does SimulTrans offer machine translation services?

Yes, we can deploy machine translation technologies for specific projects when required and appropriate. Talk to us if you want to test your content to see if it suits machine translation.

13. Can SimulTrans connect my content management system with your translation management system?

If you work with a content management system (CMS), file repository, cloud service, or marketing automation platform, SimulTrans can seamlessly automate the process via a connector or plugin. Talk to your project manager to set up a meeting so we can learn more about your specific setup and goals.

14. Do you have an online portal to request projects?

Yes, SimulTrans offers a free online portal called SimulTracker. This portal lets you easily manage and track projects with SimulTrans 24/7. This portal is available in Spanish. You can use SimulTracker to:

  • Upload files for translation
  • Request and approve quotes
  • Check the status of projects
  • Download translated files
  • Customize workflows

15. Would my fees for translation services be the same?

Yes, SimulTrans is committed to maintaining the same fees for translation services.

16. Is my existing contract still valid?

If you have an existing contract, we can add an addendum to the current contract. 

17. Do I need to sign any paperwork with SimulTrans?

Yes, we will provide a document committing that SimulTrans will protect your company data, that you consent to transfer your data to SimulTrans, and confirm your agreement with SimulTrans' terms and conditions.

18. Where will all my past projects be kept?

Upon receiving your agreement, your past project-related information will be transferred to SimulTrans and kept for three years or according to our regional data protection laws.

19. What happens to my translation memories?

Once you consent, all your translation memories can be transferred to SimulTrans. We can also send a copy to you for your records.

20. Will my data and account information be secure?

Yes, all data remains securely stored in SimulTrans' secure systems, which are compliant with ISO 27001:2017.
Your data will continue to reside in the EU and won't be exported to another location. 
We comply with all GDPR regulations.

21. Does SimulTrans have any ISO certifications?

Yes, SimulTrans has three ISO certifications:

  • ISO 9001 certification ensures our well-documented process, consistent adherence, and continuous improvement. This includes the SimulTrans Quality database, an automated system to monitor, index, and address quality issues promptly while seeking process improvement.
  • ISO 17100 certification standardizes terminology, sets basic requirements for translation services, and provides a framework for customer-service provider interaction. SimulTrans uses ISO 17100 requirements to evaluate translators' performance.
  • ISO 18587 certification details requirements for human post-editing of machine translations. Through this certification, SimulTrans demonstrates a commitment to best practices and continuous improvement.
