Globalization Management Systems |
SimulTrans hosts internal servers running two globalization management systems (GMS): WorldServer and Across Language Server.
These systems manage workflow and memory processing for many projects, often linking directly to clients' systems directly or providing customers with a browser-based interface through which files may be submitted for translation.
Advantages
SimulTrans' customers benefit from the following advantages offered by the two GMS systems:
- Implement a GMS and gain its benefits with no set-up fees
- Automate steps in the translation workflow, including the following:
- Analysis of files against translation memory files for each language
- Notification to translators that files are available
- Transfer of data between translators and SimulTrans
- Provide access for clients to upload files for new projects and to download completed translations.
- Track existing projects or create new ones.
- View project status, including how much work has already been completed and what is yet to be done on existing projects.
- View existing quotes or create new ones.
- Provide direct access for in-country reviewers, eliminating the need for the client to be an in-between point of contact, thus reducing administrative efforts.
- Post announcements making it easy to share project specific information with the translators or project manager.
