Client Access

SimulTrans offers clients access to several tools to help communicate, submit and monitor localization projects, track status, and manage translation assets.

Each of these tools can be accessed individually by clients using the access details a SimulTrans Project Manager or Account Manager can provide.  SimulTrans typically does not charge any additional fees for the use of these applications.

Acrobat Connect Pro: Tool for online meetings, often used for presentations, collaborative status meetings, and initial translator training sessions.

Across Language Server: Translation management system, including memory maintenance and workflow capabilities, used primarily by clients who also host their own implementations of Across.

Bugzilla Bug Tracker: Software bug tracking system used to log issues found during localization testing of applications.

Linguistic Issue Tracker: System used to record linguistic questions during the translation process, along with their responses.  By storing a repository of linguistic details, translators for multiple languages can benefit from one another's queries and linguists can research similar questions in previous projects.

Localization Vault: Resource for securely and conveniently managing localization assets, including transferring files, archiving localized documents, and storing translation memories.

Project Collaboration Portal: Web-based project tracking tool allowing clients to collaborate and communicate with SimulTrans' project managers, translators, reviewers, and other members of the project team.

SimulTrans Extranet: Suite of tools used to manage and monitor the status of projects, as well as track linguistic queries and software bugs.

Website Login: Access to this site allowing the viewing of protected content, including useful localization articles and videos.

WorldServer: Translation management system, including memory maintenance and workflow capabilities, including the ability of clients to submit files for translation, track their status, and provide online linguistic review feedback.
